Our Saturday Sampler class for 2008 is the most popular ever! We will again hold Saturday Sampler on the second Saturday of the month, except for January, which will be held on the first Saturday. You may choose the 8:30AM, 9:30AM, 10:30AM, or 11:30 session, but we ask that you stick with one session throughout the year. [all are full but 11:30] We have two dynamite quilts we are offering for 2008. We are offering a pieced quilt called “Harvest” and the "Be Attitudes" quilt Cost to sign up is still only $5.00. Purchase of the Block Tool or the Be Attitudes is necessary for the patterns. Buttons for Be Attitudes is optional. You may do both patterns for an additional charge. Here is how it works: Bring your completed April block to the May meeting and you get the May block kit free. Bring your completed May block back in June and get another kit! Each month we show the next month's block and give a short 15 minute demonstration of a technique or tool that can be used in making that block. Conditions: If you want to make more than one block, or want to make a block of both quilt designs, that's fine, but you only get ONE free kit per month. You must pay $5.00 for any additional kits. To get your free kit, you MUST come to Prairie Quilt at the class time you signed up for and sit through the demonstration time. There are NO exceptions! If you can't come one Saturday, you can buy that month's kit for $5.00 while supplies lasts. Bring your completed block to the next month's class and you will receive the next month's kit free. A door prize will be given away at each session, but you must bring your completed block to be eligible for the drawing and you must be present to win. There will also be a "special discount" mystery item announced the morning of each session, which will be available ONLY to participants and ONLY on meeting day. After twelve sessions, you should have twelve finished blocks and be on your way to a beautiful quilt. |
