Educator Series: Pfaff Creative Icon 2 with Benny Lopez
Pfaff National Educator Benny Lopez joins us for two days of FUN! Benny will lead the class through the Quiltastic project using basic piecing as well as digitizing with MySewNet!
Supplies:
Quiltastic Project.
Day1: stitch out the project.
Day 2: use mySewnet (mSn) to create the designs used on the Day 1 portion of the event.
Day 1
Attendees to bring:
General notions you like to have on hand like seam ripper, stiletto, thread snips, etc
Day 2
Attendees to bring their laptop. Windows preferred. External mouse is recommended for laptop. This will prove much more convenient when we perform the digitizing portion of the project. (standard mouse pad on a laptop makes plotting stitch points very cumbersome).
About the Instructor:
Greetings! My name is Benito (Benny). I am a self-taught sewist who began sewing 11 years ago. Though I took an initial interest in garments, I quickly fell in love with quilting. Since then, I have explored the countless avenues of sewing/embroidery. Including table runners, pillows, small crafts, and home decor. Aside from sewing, I am a full-time dialysis nurse at a local hospital. I also enjoy driving, riding my motorcycle, and taking adventures to places I've never seen before. I can't wait to meet you all in person, and look forward to connecting with fellow sewists.
